Register of Deeds Helps Wingate Students Apply for Passports

By Brett Vines
September 6, 2019

U.S. PassportPassport agents Marian Hogan, Andy Hogan and Wayne Miller, and Register of Deeds Crystal Gilliard visited Wingate University on August 28 to conduct a “Passport Fair” and process passports for students who will be traveling internationally this December and next spring. The event was sponsored by the Office of International Programs. The Register of Deeds staff processed 21 passports and took 18 passport photos. “It was great to partner with Wingate University in order to help the students who are studying abroad to make this process simple and efficient,” said Gilliard. “It was such a success we are tentatively scheduled to come back in January 2020.”
