Library Hosts Chat with the Author Event

Sunflower Dog book coverUnion County Public Library is hosting a unique opportunity for patrons to virtually meet a local author and Union County native. Author Kevin Winchester will join library patrons virtually on Tuesday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss his debut novel, Sunflower Dog: Dancing the Flathead Shuffle.

As a 2013 Thomas Wolfe Fiction Award recipient, Winchester is no stranger to literary accolades. Sunflower Dog, which is set in Union County, is receiving international acclaim as one of the United Kingdom’s Top 10 Humour and Satire Books of 2020. The novel also won the 2020 IPPY Silver Medal for Best Regional Fiction.

Winchester will talk about Sunflower Dog, read from the novel, and answer questions from the audience.
