Tax Foreclosure
North Carolina law does not allow for what is commonly known as tax deed sales. Properties with delinquent taxes may be sold through a foreclosure process at a public auction. Information related to the foreclosure process and any available properties can be found on our website.
Assessment/Tax Records
Union County's assessment and tax records are available on our website. Scroll down the page until you reach the Parcels section; then, you will see the link to download the relevant files. All tax lien/mortgage foreclosures are handled by the Clerk of Courts office. Please contact the Clerk of Courts office for information.
