The Union County Communicable Disease (CD) Team relies on timely, accurate reports from healthcare providers to monitor disease trends, identify outbreaks, and coordinate a community response.

What to Report

North Carolina requires all licensed healthcare providers — including physicians, nurses, veterinarians, coroners, laboratory directors, and school health personnel — to report cases of 80+ designated communicable diseases.
