This page is a resource for known road or lane closures within Union County, such as planned closures due to road construction or closures associated with severe weather events. Please see the map at the bottom of this page for known road closure information.

As this information can change quickly, not all closures are published here. We also encourage you to follow the Union County Sheriff's Office on Facebook and to download their app for real-time traffic alerts. 

Winter Weather

Severe winter storms can produce conditions such as ice and impassable roads.

Flooding
Avoid roads impacted by flooding or storm debris. If you see a flooded road, do not attempt to drive through it. If you see a road closed, do not drive around barricades. Watch a video about the “Turn Around Don’t Drown” initiative here.
