How We Help

Parenting Support, an Alliance for Children program, helps parents gain a better understanding of their infants, toddlers and preschoolers as they grow, while teaching them self-worth and empowerment.

This program will help participating parents discover the importance of nurturing and how it affects others, as well as themselves.

Through self-awareness and skill-building activities, parents will:

  • increase empathy;
  • develop realistic expectations of children, appropriate family roles;
  • learn positive discipline practices.
