The Broadband Committee was established by the Union County Board of Commissioners at its regular meeting on March 4, 2024. The Broadband Committee will oversee the development of a broadband plan for Union County, in addition to reviewing the implementation of other approved recommendations. Membership on the committee is limited to seven Union County residents who represent the following categories: education, business, internet technology, social service, and agriculture. These vacancies were advertised in accordance with the Board’s Rules of Procedure.

Meeting Information:
The Broadband Committee meets quarterly. Meetings are located in the Board Room on the first floor of the Union County Government Center at 500 N. Main St., Monroe, NC 28112.
