Current Vacancies

The Union County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications from residents of Union County who are interested in serving on the following boards and/or committees:

• Adult Care Home Advisory Committee
• Atrium Health Union Advisory Council (two (2) vacancies)
• Consolidated Human Services Board vacancies as follows: Professionals to include:
• • One (1) vacancy for Psychiatrist, licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina
  • One (1) Optometrist
  • One (1) Physician
  • One (1) Veterinarian
  • One (1) Consumer of Human Services
  • One (1) Dentist
  • One (1) Pharmacist
• Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (one (1) Person Under the Age of 21 for an unexpired term ending June 30, 2027)
• Nursing Home Advisory Committee

Individuals interested in applying should submit the online application by Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 5 p.m. EST.
