NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Union County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications from residents of Union County who are interested in serving on the following boards and/or committees:

a. Adult Care Home Advisory Committee [(At Least Seven (7) Vacancies)]
b. Agricultural Advisory Board [(One (1) Vacancy for an Unexpired Term)]
c. Child Fatality Prevention Team [(One (1) vacancy for member of local law enforcement; one (1) vacancy for a member of EMS/Fire; and other appointed members)]
d. Board of Equalization and Review [One (1) Vacancy]
e. Consolidated Human Services Board (Vacancies as follows: Professionals to include: Psychologist, Optometrist, Psychiatrist, Physician, and Dentist, licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina; three (3) Vacancies for Consumers of Human Services; one (1) Vacancy for Engineer; and two (2) Vacancies for Other Persons)
f. Historic Preservation Commission [Two (2) Vacancies]
g. Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority [(Five (5) Vacancies)]
h. Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee [(Three (3) Vacancies)]
i. Juvenile Crime Prevention Council [One (1) Vacancy for a Juvenile Defense Attorney, One (1) Person Under Age 18, and One (1) Member of the Business Community to serve an unexpired term)]
j. Nursing Home Advisory Committee [(Eight (8) Vacancies)]
k. Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee [Two (2) Vacancies]
