Work First Employment ServicesWork First Employment Services (WFES) assists you in your quest to self-sufficiency by helping you to remove barriers to employment. Some of the barriers WFES may be able to assist you with removing are: childcare, transportation issues, clothing for employment and/or interviewing, referrals to community partners, and assistance with job searching.

To qualify for WFES you must have a dependent child under the age of 18 that lives in the home 51% of the time or more. You must also meet the income guidelines for your family size.

As a participant of the program you must complete a maximum of 35 hours of countable activities per week. These activities can include paid employment, skills training, work experience or volunteering, vocational training, and job search.
