Union County Christmas Bureau

Christmas presentsBecome one of the hundreds of individuals, groups and families that come together October through December to provide assistance to local families in need during the Christmas season. Volunteer roles include administrative, volunteer coordination and sorting and distributing donations.

Ways You Can Help

Sponsor a Family or Child

We have families that range from small to large in size that your family, business or church can sponsor. A family is a bit more than you would like to sponsor? How about one or two of the children? We are ready to help you determine what the best way for you to help meet the needs of others in our community this Christmas season. Give us a call. Thank you!

Computer and Interview Volunteer

Volunteer with us on-site beginning in October helping with the application process. Computer skills are a must in order to help with this portion of the process. We also ask that you be available for a 4-hour shift each week.

Toy Sorting and Matching

Volunteer with us sorting the toy donations and pulling gifts for children using a wish list. This is a great volunteer opportunity for families or groups from businesses, neighborhoods, or churches.

Distribution Days

We will need many hands to help distribute the gifts to our families in December. You can register for volunteer for those dates.

Donations

You can do a toy drive at your school, church or business. We need toys and gifts for children from infants to 18 years old. We also provide food for our families, so a food drive is a perfect way to help. You can donate individually or as a group. Call us at 704-296-4312 to find out how you can help us this Christmas season.
