Would you like to organize a litter clean-up event with your neighbors, homeowner's association, or civic, church or school group? Are you a business owner who wants to coordinate a fun community service activity for your staff, with the added benefit of beautifying the areas near your business?

If you would like to organize a litter collection event in Union County, you can borrow any of these items for free (pending availability) from Union County Solid Waste: 

• safety vests
• litter grabbers
• gloves
• trash bags

Solid Waste staff also accepts bags of litter for free disposal at their convenience center sites. Volunteers may also inquire about the option to leave bags of litter at the roadside for county staff to collect.
