Most Union County Government offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

Union County Library: All library locations will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Digital resources are always available online.

Parks and Recreation: Cane Creek Park will be open with regular operating hours on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The beach in the day use area at Cane Creek Park will be open both days from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Historically, the day use area at Cane Creek Park is very busy during Independence Day weekend. Please arrive early for planned activities and plan accordingly.

Public Health Dental Clinic: The Dental Clinic will be closed on Friday, July 3, and on Monday, per the usual schedule.

Waste and Recycling: The Union County Landfill will be open on Friday, July 3, with normal operating hours. The Landfill and all Waste and Recycling Centers will be closed Saturday, July 4.
