Most Union County Government offices and facilities will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

Union County Library: All library locations will be open Saturday, May 23. All library locations will be closed on Monday, May 25. The library's digital resources are always available online.

Parks and Recreation: Cane Creek Park will be open with regular operating hours the weekend of Memorial Day, as well as on Monday, May 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Historically, the day use area at Cane Creek Park is very busy during the weekend of Memorial Day, as it’s the opening weekend for the beach. Please arrive early for planned activities and plan accordingly. 

Waste and Recycling: All Waste and Recycling Centers and the Union County Landfill are open with regular operating hours on Saturday, May 23. All Waste and Recycling Centers and the Landfill will be closed on Monday, May 25.
