NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: that the Union County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Lakeside Lodge located at Cane Creek Park, 5301 Cane Creek Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173, for the purpose of holding a work session. The subjects to be discussed include but are not limited to operating and capital budget outlook, tax software update, FY2027 budget discussion, jail size scenarios and cost estimates, and other strategic and budgetary matters.
The Board may take such actions related to these matters as the Board deems appropriate not inconsistent with applicable law.
