Residents are encouraged to participate anytime an amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) is proposed. Public input is an important part of the process and is considered by the Board of County Commissioners before any vote on an amendment to the UDO.
Before a public hearing can be held, the Land Use Board must first review the proposed amendment and provide a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.
As a result, the Board of County Commissioners will reschedule the public hearing related to minor subdivisions from Feb. 2 to March 2.
Planning staff will present information to the Land Use Board at its February meeting. The Board will consider public input and potential impacts before making a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners, which will then consider the matter for final approval.
