Most Union County Government offices and facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 for Labor Day.

Union County Library: All library locations will be open Saturday, Aug. 30. All library locations will be closed Monday, Sept. 1. The library's digital resources are always available online. 

Parks and Recreation: Cane Creek Park will be open with regular operating hours the weekend of Labor Day, as well as on Monday, Sept. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please note, the beach will close for the season on Sept. 2. Historically, the day-use area at Cane Creek Park is very busy during the weekend of Labor Day. Please arrive early and plan accordingly. 

Waste and Recycling: All Waste and Recycling Centers and the Union County Landfill are open with regular operating hours on Saturday, Aug. 30. All Waste and Recycling Centers and the Landfill will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1.

 

Although Union County Water's Customer Care office will be closed, many services are available online and crews are available for wastewater emergencies after-hours. Visit this page on Union County Water's website for helpful resources.
