The Union County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Union County Agricultural & Event Complex, Hall A, 3230 Presson Road, Monroe, North Carolina 28112, for the purpose of holding a joint meeting with the Union County Board of Education. The topics to be discussed during the special meeting might include but not be limited to matters relevant to the Proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Operation and Capital Budget; Long Term Capital Plan, Education Debt Service, State Budget Discussion and Interlocal Cooperation and Agreement; Other topics may be considered as permitted by applicable law.

The Board may take such actions related to these matters as the Board deems appropriate, and as pennitted by applicable law.
