Union County is partnering with the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO), and the Town of Unionville to develop a design and cost estimate to improve the intersection of Unionville-Indian Trail Rd. at Unionville-Brief Rd. / E. C.J. Thomas Rd. to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety. This project is not funded for construction, but the design and cost estimate developed through this study may be used in future implementation grant applications.
