Union County Seeks Input on CDBG Program

Posted on 02/08/17

February 8, 2017, Monroe, NC – Union County receives an annual allocation from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) via the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. In order to receive these annual funds, Union County must develop an Annual Action Plan that aligns with the goals and priorities of the 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan. The Annual Action Plan describes the funding levels and activities to be undertaken during the individual upcoming program year for the CDBG program, to address the priority needs and objectives as outlined in the Consolidated Plan.

As part of the planning process, Union County is conducting a survey to identify needs in the community and ideas on how the community would like to see funds utilized under the CDBG Program.

Please follow the link listed below to participate in the survey of needs. We estimate a time commitment of no longer than 10 minutes. The survey will close March 3, 2017.
