Union County Public Library has Gone Fishing!

Posted on 05/31/16

May 16, 2016, Monroe, NC - If you have ever thought about what’s the best time to catch the most fish or where the big ones hide, then this program is meant for you. Union West Regional Library will host Brian Booth of Scholastic Anglers, a local authority on fishing on Saturday May 21, 2016 2pm for a lively discussion on this favorite world sport.

"According to the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries, the sale of licenses has increased dramatically over the previous 10 years," said Cliff Rhodes, Reference Library Assistant. "Residents, more than ever before, are finding themselves at their favorite fishing spot. And who couldn't use a little help reeling in the big fish?"

Brian Booth will provide hints and tips to making your fishing venture a great experience. This program is free and open to the public. For further information contact Cliff at crhodes@union.lib.nc.us or call 704-821-7475 ext 3.
