Telecommunications Recognized for Helping Save Lives

March 6, 2017, Monroe, NC — Fifteen Union County Emergency Communications employees were recognized by Union EMS on Feb. 28 for helping to save the lives of several cardiac arrest victims in 2016.

Union EMS holds its annual Hearts and Hands ceremony to celebrate the lives of residents that members of the county’s public safety community help save during the past year. Those saved were invited to the event and had the opportunity to meet the people who were involved in their emergency.

Emergency Communications employees acknowledged were Adam Childers, Stacy Raymond, Nikki Copeland, Cheri Conley, Jay Gurian, Susan Furr, Megan Garcia, Christiane Rowan, Matt Rhoden, Ben Hughes, Jenn Harsch, Dan McCall, Christy Ward, Misty Greene and Rosie Hill.
