MONROE, NC (March 16, 2017) -- Greg Morgan, UCPW Field Services Supervisor, was recognized by his industry peers with the Kasey Monroe Outstanding Service Award. Greg received this award from the North Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association (NC AWWA) & The North Carolina Member Association of the Water Environment Federation (NC WEA) for his service to the water industry over the years.
Greg has been sought out for his expertise and interest in the industry. He was an instrumental part of developing the Collection & Distribution ladders of The Academy for Water Professional Development and has served on the Board of Trustees for NC AWWA-WEA.
He is currently a co-chair on the NC AWWA-WEA Operations Challenge subcommittee and has led the Sewer Rats, a team of Union County employees that competes in various wastewater-related challenges, to victory.
Greg loves his job and takes great pride in what he, his fellow employees and people throughout the water industry do every day for our customers.
The Kasey Monroe Outstanding Service Award is given annually by the Governing Body of the NC AWWA-WEA to that member of the Association who by his/her efforts and contribution has demonstrated outstanding service to NC AWWA-WEA. In making this award, the Board is recognizing services performed by an individual throughout the year that were above that normally expected from a volunteer member.
