Gen Internet Clinic Coming to Monroe Library

Posted on June 15, 2015

June 15, 2015, Monroe, NC – The Dickerson Genealogy & Local History Room has put together a team to help you find your ancestors on the Internet.

On Saturday, June 20, drop-in for this free clinic between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. No sign-up or appointments, just drop-in! We’ll do our best to devote an hour to help you either get started or delve deeper. One-on-one time is dependent upon how many participants arrive. No experience necessary.

For the very best chance of results, come with names of ancestors born between 1840–1940. The more that you already know, the more you’ll be certain that we’ve found the right one or two or three.

Bring a travel or flash drive if you wish to save documents that are found.

For more information, contact Patricia Poland at 704-283-8184 x224 or ppoland@union.lib.nc.us.
