DSS Providing Affordable Care Act Assistance

December 5, 2016, Monroe, NC – The Union County Division of Social Services is providing in-person help for residents applying for healthcare assistance through the Affordable Care Act through Jan. 31.

Assistance is being provided at three locations: Monroe Library Branch (Mondays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) Common Heart in Indian Trail (Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) New Beginnings Church in Matthews (Fridays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-318-2596 or register online at www.healthcare.gov

Enroll by Dec. 15 for coverage to start Jan. 1.
